Mix & Master for Rock, Metal, Indie & Singer-Songwriters | Free 30s Test Mix for $175

Proper Sounds Studios is a mixing and mastering studio in the Southeast US. I've played in bands for 20 years and spent the last 5 recording and mixing, so I know what it's like to hand your songs to someone else. My job is to make your song sound like the best version of itself, not like mine.

Genres I work in most: rock and alt, metal and hardcore, indie and pop, singer-songwriter, blues, R&B, worship and folk.

FREE 30-SECOND TEST MIX
Not sure yet? Send me a message and I'll mix 30 seconds of your song for free. Listen on your own speakers, then decide. (Demo use only. Order the full song to release it.)

WHAT YOU GET (1 SONG)
- Full mix and master
- Streaming-ready master + MP3 reference
- Revisions until it's right
- Track count: Up to 48 tracks (bigger sessions, message me first)
- Delivery in about 5-7 days

HOW IT WORKS
1. Send your stems and one or two reference songs you like the sound of.
2. I send the first mix. You tell me what's working and what isn't.
3. We go back and forth until it's right, then I master it.

PRICING
$175 per song (intro rate). Just need mastering? It's $65 per song on my mastering listing. Doing an EP or album? Message me and I'll put together a custom offer.

I'm flexible, easy to reach, and straight with you about what your tracks need. I'd rather build a long-term working relationship than do a one-off job, so I treat every song like there's a next one.

GOOD TO KNOW
Is the test mix really free? Yes. 30 seconds, no strings.
What should I send? Individual tracks, all starting at the same point, plus a reference song. Full details come after you order.
Can you fix a rough recording? Message me a sample first and I'll tell you honestly what I can do with it.
